To be more precise, I believe that those diagrams that show how many ppl solved / tried but didn't solve each problem should have a slightly different terminology. Admin denotes by "Attempted" only the #ppl that tried, but didn't solve the problem. I think he should use sth like Solved / Failed for the green / red portions
