Help please!

I have created an account,but i didn't get any account activation on my email. I checked to see if I made some typing errors but i didn't. I can go to my account, but i can't get to My Tasks or Chat beacuse they want me to activate account.
P.S Can I participate in competitions if I can't get my account activated?
